Funding and Timetable

The application process to the Heritage Lottery Fund for the Landscape Partnership Programme has two stages.  We were successful at Stage One when we submitted broad outline plans of the works that we would like to complete. We are now in the Development phase and have been awarded £405,000 from HLF to enable us to take those broad outline plans and make the individual projects much more detailed, with specific costs. We will then submit a Stage Two application in November 2016 which HLF will assess for some months and then give us a decision in March 2017. If this Stage Two application is successful, HLF will award us about £2.5m to fund the delivery of 50 projects over a five year period from 2017-2022.  The HLF funds at both Development and Delivery stages have to be match funded by a combination of cash contributions and volunteer time, because this shows supportive evidence that local communities are involved in the projects.
